Actually not sure if this video will work! If it doesn't work, the video is also available in the high res dropbox link. Oh, actually I can just link that right there.
(update: I just saw that the video does NOT embed inside patreon's site. I'd need to upload either to Vimeo or some other url that will allow embeds. Dropbox does not, unfortunately. If you'd like to view the video, please click the link.)
I like to think of art as not just the finished product. Sometimes, it's interesting to know the story behind a piece, or to see something being constructed. Watching someone paint can be very soothing, and it brings you a little closer to the creation. And on my end, it can make the process a little less lonesome if you're drawing with/for a group.
I don't have a lot of these timelapses, I'm not totally sure they're a popular thing with most of my viewers. For that matter, I'm not sure how many people like watching art streams. But it's still something I hope adds value or that enough people enjoy that I can keep doing them for quite some time.
Hey, update. I'll be headed to NYCC this weekend. We're working on taking it as safely as we can. Going to avoid anything that looks too crowded. I got vaccinated and I plan to stay masked the entire time indoors. But still, that's not 100% safe so me and my friends will act accordingly and avoid anything that appears dangerous. Case counts for covid in NYC are fairly low right now so I'm hoping that extends to the places in and around the convention center.
And hey, if it's too crowded I'm seeing that the Museum of Natural History is pretty wide open.
