Nisha (character sheet commission) (Patreon)

This was a job for my friend, WeirdSeal, whom you know I've done work with before but that's cause I like working with them! And they're a friend and were one of the people helping me put the commissions setup together. ANYWAY, I also gotta say this was an ideal commission even though there were a lot of complicated details.

This was a particularly difficult commission, but it wasn't a rough one to do. It was a ground up design for a new character, with very specific details down to the color scheme and the imagery. BUT, even though the commission is normally very difficult, weirdseal provided excellent visual references. Images of the face and hair style, the type of mask to use, even a thing to map the colors of the outfit, Weird put it together into a single imgur gallery that I could access easily.

It ended up just being my job to bring all these difficult concepts together. So it was still a little challenging, but Weird made it as smooth as possible so I was able to work straight through the night.

Now, it's okay if you don't add all those details. It can be a lot of work! And you're hiring an artist to work those out. And sometimes, an artist really appreciates having a lot of freedom in a piece. (The second commission I'll be doing has offered a LOT of freedom in fact.) But if you're a commissioner with a specific vision in mind, it helps to be very constructive with your details.
