Bats (Patreon)

I feel like I've stagnatted a bit, and haven't done enough to branch out in a couple ways. Don't get me wrong, I actually think a bunch of my stuff is TECHNICALLY better but in the rush to please or only do pleasing shapes, I haven't really explored real dynamic angles and poses.

I've toyed with it a bit but I'm afraid my limited number of poses I return to again and again has really limited my visual language when it comes to coming up with pages. So when I see a couple really old but REALLY GOOD pages in a comic, I actually end up floored.

It's been a while since I've felt that kind of humility, and it's something I need a bit more of.
