Daisy (Patreon)

I'm really happy with this pic. Even the hands look pretty good. The smooth and bright coloring also fits the Nintendo aesthetic a lot. But I guess the thing to ask about is, why a black Daisy? Well for me it was really simple. I saw some people draw the other princesses as black and I'm like. That's fun. I like Daisy too, so I'll draw her. I don't really think of it as replacing anything, but just having more fun with the princesses and including other folks in the Nintendo dress up games.

I think I'll draw more Nintendo princesses of all kinds for a while. They're just a joy to draw, in any context. Whether that's playing sports or playing with piranha plants.
