Chief (Patreon)

I dunno if I'll finish this sketch because nothing sounds less fun than adding lineart on all the details on Master Chief's armor and not getting paid to do it, but I think it's still a pretty cool sketch. Still... because I worry that any day I post something that doesn't have a cute girl in it, I included a sketch where I wonder "what if Halo was a girl?"

Anyway, I find Master Chief to be a surprisingly endearing character. If not a particularly interesting or unique one, I think there's something to this "sad badass" that really works for me. He's kinda a Solid Snake that doesn't talk a lot. He's got all that pain and stuff that comes with being a genetically modified child soldier that somehow saves humanity and all life in the galaxy. But he's also got this big bright green toy like armor. It's pretty neat.

That's a long way of saying I like Halo.
