Just a simple drawing, I didn't have an idea for this character. She started looking like Lola Bunny, though. From Space Jam? Pretty much after I added the top and shorts, I knew how I wanted to color the drawing.

This is probably as classic a sketch as it gets from me. But it was right after doing a life drawing session, and I think there are a couple interesting things I managed here that I don't always do. At the life drawing session (I'll share those drawings sometime this week) I took notes on how a person holds themselves. Not trying to make that sound lewd or anything. It's just how a person stands or lays down, they use their arms or feet as supports.

What I like in this drawing is how her ankles are crossed. That's a pretty common bit of body language. A person idly interacts with certain landmarks on their body all the time. A figure drawing model will emphasize things for the sake of illustration. But you can find little things people do day to day. Like hold their wrists or put their hands to their hips.  Being aware of these things will make work look more natural.

Well... anyway I hope that makes sense. Happy March everyone!

Definitely some Lola in there.

About her feet. Was she wearing shoes and socks when she got all that sun? Oh and she is very cute.

That shadowing under the nose, the cleverest way of evoking some bunny features in without even adding ears or a tail or so on.
