Wasn't I numbering these random sketch posts before? Gosh I can never remember what my last set of posts was numbered...

There's a Komi-san drawing from new years. I've been enjoying the manga now that Gunwild got me the first volume of "Komi-San Can't Communicate." It's a cute read!

Well anyway, lemme chatter a bit about drawing and drawing quickly. A couple of these are inked drawings and I'm enjoying the speed I can get with them. BUT I think I also need to bring back a certain level of care and thoughtfulness. I shouldn't sacrifice energy and I shouldn't try to repeat lines forever. But I need to take a little more time creating thoughtful lines that amplify the drawing.

It's a little tricky though, getting into that mental state. I draw a lot of my stuff on stream so I often think I have to entertain with my impressive drawing talents. It's little like being a Hibachi chef I assume. Where part of the entertainment in the meal comes from seeing it done live. So you might start changing the way you work, in subtle ways, to engage your live audience. It isn't a necessary part of the job but it comes with being a host, ya know. You want people to enjoy their time with you! You just hope the lines your making don't get boring if you're thinking about them too much.

That's become one of my favorite manga recently too. Thanks for the sketch!
