It's that Cocolette drawing again. I got it in my head that I wanted to complete this sketch. This was more just to experiment with faster inking. And I think it came out well. It felt good to do. Basically I tried not to fuss too much about getting the lines and anatomy perfect. It could be improved but I would also end up spending a lot more time. There are practical reasons to get faster. Getting art out on time is one thing, but being able to complete more ideas is another.

In this instance though, I thought the art in the different stages had their own charm. I particularly liked the flat stage which compliments the curvy lineart the best. But I still like the sketch stage, which has all the energy intact. The inked lines still have a lot of energy, which I think is part of learning to accept your mistakes. If you try to redo the line over and over again, it'll get tiring and bland.

the stages of how art is made is always interesting to see. also the curled toes are a nice touch and i think the hands are nearly spot on. nice work
