I'd like to try this drawing again sometime, maybe when I can figure out a better pose.

I know it's silly to go around space adventuring in a leotard, but hell I'm working on a web comic started on that very premise. I think it's a rather appealing notion, at least to me. There's an exhibitionist factor to it, but also a sort of bravery mixed with vulnerability. The fact that Samus is often portrayed just as capable outside of her super suit as inside it, is very cool.

There's something very appealing about it in a rather unrealistic way. It's not unlike Red Sonja or Dejah Thoris or any number of jungle princess main characters. So as a kid, I was fascinated by the idea of the Justin Bailey outfit. I never really played original Metroid, it was before my time. But I DID go through the trouble of installing a Rom Hack for Super Metroid that allowed Samus to run around in a space bikini the whole game.

Also hey folks, just a heads up. I already mentioned this to the 1$ patrons, but the entry level tier will change to 2$. However anyone already paying 1$ will be able to keep their pledge at 1$. The price increase will only affect new patrons in the future.

I'm expecting a cost of living increase next year, and seeing as the blog is much more busy than when I first opened this Patreon, I'm changing the entry level pledge.
