Hannah being cute, and NSFW (Patreon)

You PROBABLY noticed that little spot that I covered up with a mosaic. It's a bit more explicit (and not THAT well drawn) but if you wanna check it out, click over here or on the attachment below. 

Hannah and Handsy are probably not gonna get into BDSM in the way that I sometimes draw. I don't see that in their characters right now. However, I was just wanting to draw some more detailed collars and gags, and figured Hannah is as good a test subject as any. When it came to finding a post for online, I found a nice shirt color and put it on Hannah. I think she came out rather nice.

Other notes on this drawing, it's a different nose than I usually draw. I still like drawing the characteristic "psu nose" but I think I'm getting more into drawing detailed noses and stuff. However, this had a partially unexpected side effect. It made her nose look more pointed and sharp, possibly giving her a more Caucasian appearance. I always pictured her as brown skinned south east asian, but Psu drawings with ambiguous anime characteristics leads to very broad race. I'm not totally sure if that makes sense, basically I'm just sayin that prominent noses tend to be a Caucasian phenotype and south east asians tend to have flatter noses. It's just a subtle detail.

Now the way I shaded it, making her skin look a little lighter, is something else entirely. That mostly came down to the method I was using here, to get the colors down. I use just a few passes of the airbrush to get as smooth a skin tone as possible, but I also let a lot of the white paper show through the layers. This tends to have a very light and muted saturation for character skin tones. I've used this method a lot, but compensating and making sure skin tones look appropriately toned, is something I try to be aware of.

Anyway, hope that rambling made sense! A lot of thought has to go into cute doodles.
