I posted this elsewhere on the drawin_casscain twitter acount a few weeks ago, but I neglected to post it here. I kinda worried that it was a little too spooky but it isn't really. There's even worse on book covers or movie theater posters. I added a couple variations. I like the black and white one a bit more cause the color ended up a little distracting. Unfortunately everything was painted on haphazard layers that it doesn't really add up to much sharing the different layers individually.

Still kinda cool. The picture here was a take on The Batman Who Laughs, who is basically a total edgelord of a DC character that combined Batman with The Joker and for some reason gave him the mask from Judge Death from the Judge Dredd comics. I wanted to have some fun so gave that to Cass and I think it looked pretty cool! But sometimes less is more. I could've gone more extreme with extra belts of piercings and stuff. But if I were to try this again, I would attempt something with even more restraint. And that's not a pun. The Batman Who Laughs is not a subtle character design, but it might benefit from being a little more clever.

It's an interesting concept and I do like your more muted take with Cass. And I can see a potential origin. Maybe at the pinnacle moment Bruce was about to kill The Joker, Cass intervened, killed him instead and became infected with the joker venom. I bet she's got a real dark sense of humor.

No matter how I look at it this is horrible.

I meant “inducing horror.” The art is anything but horrible.

I gotta say I prefer the coloured version. The gray-scale lacks a lot of character 🤔
