Cass-Vangelion (Patreon)

Let's start this month off well. I posted this to a bunch of public galleries so I thought I'd share the lineart and a version of the colored picture without the big distracting moon. The high res is available in last month's high res folder. Here's a link to the pic in my deviantArt. 

This is one of those crossovers that covers a VERY SMALL fan base overlap. There are a lot of Evangelion fans, and significantly less Cassandra Cain fans (unfortunately.) However, there are a LOT of fans of skin tight body suits and I think that covers a lot of my own followers. I had a lot of fun putting this piece together, but a lot of that came from rewatching Evangelion recently.

Now that I'm older, I honestly can understand some of the depths in the series. It's easy to get lost in the technical of the lore and the angels and all that. But when you look at the series as a child screaming against existentialism or something, then the show becomes a lot more powerful. It's weird mix of pop culture fun, sexuality, comedy, and honest deep thought, it's little wonder why the series has managed to resonate to this day.
