But she's quite popular on the twitter. I really like her look and I'm thinking about how to use her or what kinds of stories I can make with her.

Right now she's definitely a super hero of some kind. I was liking the gold trim and thought I could utilize that in her powers. So I'm thinking she can transform into gold or other metals. And I was thinking, what if she transforms into the noble metals? I wanted to name her Noble but right now there's a great character in the Catalyst comics from Lion Forge with that name. So I'd want to come up with something else.

I haven't done a CLASSIC superhero in a while. Colette is ostensibly a super hero but she doesn't follow the same traditions. This girl would be more like a cast member of the Titans or one of the Avengers side teams. She could be a lead character of course but that's only if readers like her a lot!

The thing with transforming into Noble Metals is that the real cool trait of Noble metals are that about how they react to things, as in they don't. They're not particularly strong metals, their useful aspects are how they're non reactive. It'll take some thinking to figure out how to take such a "passive" trait and turn it into an "active" power.

Gold is a good electrical conductor, how about Conduit? Conduit is also used for transferring for one place to another, which sort of fits metal transformation/transition?

Plus you have unlimited opportunities for a "can do it" pun.

What about Regent? Something that's almost a pun on reagent?

She could use her non reactive metal powers as a block or a shield for other heroes from energy bolts or something

On a riff of obdurate, her name could be Abbydurate

August. Both as the sense of gold is a fall color and August personage or someone of noble bearing. lol

Plus there's also a nice chemistry pun. AU is the periodic table symbol for Gold

Maybe Midesa (a play on words for Midus), and would be able to objects from one material to another at her touch?

LOVE the gold effect on the hero, a real richness of effect because you make the effort to do it properly. One of my fav heroes Booster Gold SHOULD have this depth of texture adding glorious ego and explanation of motivation to his every appearance, but they flatten it all down to quite cowardly yellow.

So then you have a character who's a potential glass cannon, who has some ability but she needs to get put through the wringer and not win every battle easily so her achievements are earned. Make her an underdog so people like her more.
