Nothing too much to add here. I like the flow of these poses but it actually doesn't look a lot like Cass. Instead I could just say this is some new punch happy girl.

I'm getting more aware of same face issues and it's something I need to protect myself against when it comes to designing characters. I can try to help myself by creating easy to remember landmarks during concept phases. It'll be a little harder to do on established comics like Cassiopeia but I'm already starting to keep in mind simple things like... "Cassiopeia has large almond shaped eyes and fairly sharp cheeks." "Maddy has a proud (but not too big) nose and rounder face."

I can keep drawing in a cartoony style, but I need to create more obvious differences.

I like the way the circles define her hip joints and knees. Can the Answer Duck find out why we spell “knee” with a K?

Concerning characters who look alike: You should avoid the trap Marvin Bradley and Frank Edgington fell into in Rex Morgan MD. During their tenure all women looked alike as did most of the men. It was like they were drawing a Platonic ideal.

heh, sometimes people mistake those joint landmarks I draw as cyborg parts. Considering my history, it's not a bad guess. Also, there's never really been an Answer Duck. There has been a Conjecture Girl who tries to use conjecture to answer Question Duck's questions. But as far as actually finding out, I'm not sure if we kneed to.
