I've posted the finished piece a bunch but I wanted to show off one of the earlier sketches. Infact, if you guys say you're interested I'll share some process stuff.

Obviously the character Cassandra is one that features a lot in my pinups and even my kinky work. In her older incarnation, she was also older and often drawn very sexily. Like there's no way around it, I found the costume and the acrobatics very appealing. Her current incarnation hasn't had the sex appeal but tries to bring back focus to the emotional aspects of her character. It's not a perfect book, but by turning the character into a much younger almost child like character, has been an interesting test for the writer.

And I think her oddball, unexpected friendship with the villain (turned hero about to turn villain again) Clayface has been one of the bright spots of the current Detective Comics books. When I sketched this out with just a rough paint test, I really liked the emotive qualities. The disparity in the appearance of the characters gave the image some unique challenges too.

I felt like painting Clayface was a really fun experiment too. He's just such a craggly messy character that you can play fast and loose with his lines and anatomy and it'll still look right.

This is an amazing piece and you outdid yourself on this one Psu. It captures so much raw and tender emotion.
