I may have mentioned it before, but the way I see "Gunmetal Colette" as a story is that it's about a traveling caravan of mechanics and adventurers who go around helping people in need in the wasteland. It's the kinda idea that I think would be worth exploring in the vast world of post-apocalyptic wasteland stories about people just fending for themselves. I don't need my heroes to learn to be helpful people; they're already helpful people.
