Little Brown Hyena & Misc Sketches (Patreon)

just a little brown hyena! I gave them a little purse for an accessory because it just felt right. I love these creatures; they look fake, like a Moominvalley resident or a Muppet.

The other two sketches are original gnoll character WIPs that I'm not sure when I'll finish up: the blue one is Sweet Pea's older sister, Sweet Thorn, carrying her two small cubs, and the red sketch is Sweet Pea and Sweet Thorn as kids, with Sweet Pea on the left trying not to drop their baby brother, Clover. I like thinking about characters' families and fleshing them out-- I feel like a person's family (or the absence of family) has a lot to do with shaping their personality and how they relate to the rest of the world. My gnoll characters live in a very tightly-knit community, so family is especially important to them.
