WIP - Old-Timey Medicine Cabinets (Patreon)

The Pittock Mansion in Portland, OR is fully-furnished and even accessorized with all kinds of cool period-appropriate stuff, including medicines and soaps from the early 20th century in all the medicine cabinets.

I took some photos of the medicine cabinets while I was exploring the mansion on December 7th, and I want to paint some of the neat stuff inside! I'm starting with this box of soap. The name struck me as really funny and strange-- is "Grandpa" really an appealing thought to associate with soap? Did this grandpa invent the soap? Is the cultural concept of going to grandpas for soap wisdom just something that's faded and vanished with time?
