As I work on the backgrounds in this game I notice the show uses mostly one point perspective then there's times where they use fake perspective which is rare and a big no no but not noticeable with 2d animation backgrounds and quick pans. I was trying to figure out how to make a long background that the player can walk through without camera cuts and just panning. The easy way is using Orthographic as a flat background and having the character only move on the x axis but it will appear flat and you're restricted to movement only on the x axis. This scene in particular is a fake perspective horizontal pan shot. It took me days to pull this out my ass and try to combine Oblique Cabinet projection with fake perspective. I'm happy with the results when it comes to the scale of Meg in relation to how close or far she is in the background.

Seriously there's no documentation on this technique I had to wing it and hope for the best.

I'm not sure if Quagmires house is done as I need to make sure the perspective and measurements are okay.

Meg is 4' 8" and Lois is 5' 8" and I used those heights as references.

My ONLY TWO other options was to either do the entire scene in 3D with a toon shader of some sort which I will still look into and the other was using Unity and coding a fake 3D perspective like this one. http://wulverblade.com/faking-3d-perspective/
