Growing up tits in a movie was usually the deciding factor if a film was considered a “Dirty Movie”. Usually naked breasts in a film be they casual or not warranted a “R” rating that a “PG-13” although there are exceptions. Over the years I’ve seen what I feel is a need for a more relaxed mood especially when it comes to issues such as female toplessness, which shouldn’t be an issue at all. The art is beautiful both of them.

Now I've no proof for this, but I've always felt that over-sexualisation of female anatomy in media must've originated in the baseline puritan ideas of American culture, which by large won the cultural influence war over the internet and popular media, to which we're all exposed to semi regularly now. You've places in Europe where breasts are less "shameful" (I'm thinking Germany and France specifically), places in Africa where other body parts are considered lewd (result of now practical "it's just too hot outside guys" thinking I imagine) so imho it's partly a result of cultural influence and whatever happens to be hot in this century (seems like the "hot" body part changes every 20 years now). So yeah +1 for de-sexualising upper body.
