Hello everyone! We're right around the corner to releasing for Steam Early Access, but we still need eyes on the current build to make sure it's up to snuff for release!

You can download the build here (Windows PC only) https://www.mediafire.com/file/4iqjgefzuadjdgj/SolanaceaeTheVisualNovel-1.5.1-pc_FOR_VIDEO.zip/file

If you run into a bug, or find a spelling error, please comment down below with where you found it (aka, what lines are the characters saying or what were you doing) and as much info/context as you can give.

We're focused on trying to make the game mechanics feel good, so we're def looking for more feedback there as opposed to other places, but if you have feedback on story stuff too that's also welcome!

*This build has Chapter 2 + a sex scene included btw if you wanna check them out, that stuff is new! But, it'll also be released in the actual Early Access build, so feel free to wait and check that out.

An Android build will come out alongside the Early Access build once it's ready. For now, just focused on getting feedback and most folks who are willing to test tend to be Windows users, for whatever reason.

Anyways, looking forward to hearing from y'all!

I noticed a tiny thing! When you're in the cooking/brewing menu and you craft something? If you exit out the menu without clicking off the item you just crafted, itll stay on the screen and kinda blend with the map. Other than that it ran pretty smooth for me!

THANK YOU! This is something someone else brought up to us, and is already fixed (or, hopefully fixed haha) you mentioned the game ran "pretty smooth", were their places you noticed hiccups? (I have some hiccups on my end, which makes me think some of the cuter effects, like snow falling, etc, maybe have to be taken out of the game or toggled)

not really, I noticed the game was kinda lagging (sfx were quicker than visuals, hovering images showed up pretty slow) but I think thats an issue on my end haha. maybe those special animation effects could be toggled for laptops/computers with slower loading time?

ren'py should run good even on a potato, so unless you also noticed these issues for lee's game (it looked like it ran pretty good on your computer when you streamed it) I think this is another issue entirely but I MIGHT know what's causing it so im gonna bring it up with my programmer. thank you for mentioning it! It's hugely helpful <3
