Official December Schedule (Patreon)

Hello everyone! December is the busiest month for me (as it is for most people) and it’s also the month I take my Christmas break!
As such, I usually like to be as clear as possible with my work output with all of you as I can be so that nobody is confused like, “Huh? Where’s all the updates?
First things first: I will be on break from the 21st of December to January the 3rd.
I will still be available to answer e-mails, and might still post art on all my usual sites, but I will not be working on comic pages, commissions, game dev, or ANYTHING like that. It’s possible I may draw during this time, but it’s really important for me to also just… not. I love drawing but I do it so much that these longer breaks are important for the muscles to rest and become stronger.
Not only do I have this break coming up, but I have the usual Christmas festivities to deal with AS WELL AS: my driving test, doctor’s appointments, and my Steam release coming up. So, yeah, I’m quite busy.
Regardless; I’ve got a plan to finish all my usual stuff before my break so that I can rest easy.
Here’s what I plan to get done before break:
- 2 pages of Solanaceae each week (6 pages in total this month)
- My regular weekly commissions (OTW backgrounds, Celestial bodies pages)
- Any of my commission queue before the 19th
- Any of my Patreon sketches I get before the 19th
- My Christmas themed pictures for Sola, Lee, and Space School
- I’ll be posting Pumpkin and Kabocha pages each week.
It’s possible I’ll make extra art around these things, but I also wouldn’t count on it. I’ve worked… a lot… this year… and even though it’s scary for me to take a break, I really need it. I need to be able to enjoy hobbies again and just not stress about every little thing for a while. Also uhh learning to drive and getting my license has had a lot of unexpected expenses and stuff to work around and just oh oh ohhhh I had such a hard day the other day that I broke down and made a therapist appointment again! (I wanted to go back when I was in a better place, not a worse one! Augh!)
Regardless of the dip, I’m trying to stay on my feet and just focus on the bare minimum.
TLDR: This month I’m doing the bare minimum of work (which is still a lot of content, thankfully) and winding down to enjoy Christmas and New Years!
Thanks a bunch for your patience and understanding. This time of year is very hard for supporter retention, so I appreciate everyone who sticks with me through this time of year. I’ve got big plans for 2020, and big plans for Spring/Summer in general– so I hope you’ll look forward to them!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I hope you have a good time and enjoy your new years! 🎄
