Hello everyone!

With the current chapter winding down, I wanted to share some ideas that Pop Lee and I are considering to make the next chapter even better.

This comic has always been a balancing act between the the great images that Pop Lee draws and the elaborate narrative that I write. I think the combination of both makes Princess Claire: A Royal Endowment something unique and over the last 5 chapters, I think we've succeeded in creating a halfway decent narrative driven by the fetishes patrons and fans want to see. With that in mind, we are considering some changes that I think will be very exciting for everyone.

Next chapter is Dr. Nona's "Deva's Anatomy" and is meant to explain a lot of basic physical stuff about Princess Claire'elene's Royal Endowment, what the plan is to solve the Deva population crisis and how all the rest of the characters fit into it all. That is a lot of information that could potentially bog down the pace of the comic, getting in the way of what most people care a lot more about.

So, instead of the normal comic pages we have been releasing, we are considering changing to a more storybook format like in the two examples attached to this post. If we go this route, most of the next chapter will be told as a report prepared by Dr. Nona that High Priestess Leleshara is reading. Most of the dialogue would come from a chibi Princess Claire avatar Dr. Nona designed to help easily explain the Princess' condition, as well as small comments by Leleshara and Dr. Nona. The images themselves would not be split up into individual panels like a comic page, but instead would be wider, more elaborate paintings.

My hope is that with these changes, we can get through a lot of exposition about important story details that people have wanted to know about for a long time, while at the same time greatly improving the art. We have not yet settled on a final format, but I want people to know that the next chapter will almost entirely consist of these big images, with very little story getting in the way.
