Rachel not realizing before that annulment cannot be arranged by only one person, ... clearly both signatures would be needed .... how is she not more angry at her own lack of common sense ... Uh, not a fan of how Chandler and Joey's last night is about selfless friendship while Monica and Rachel are just over the top cruel and mean to each other. Especially Rachel saying that Chandler is not good enough and that Monica's calls from, say, her work, or from the millionaire she dumped, do not count as a proof that Monica is a valuable human, while Monica is saying that Rachel enjoying having lots of clothes is somehow making Rachel a bad person or a not a valuable human, or that if she shares how she feels about Ross, it will be thrown in her face later.... Meanwhile, Joey and Chandler are all about wanting to have fun and wanting to selflessly help each other.

“Hey!! It’s PORSHAAA” is such a well delivered line by Matt😂😂

Mercyangel i loved this series since i was 16 and much more in my 20s when i finally could watch it in English. I follow Nick's reactions for over a year because they entertain me. I see today stuff differently from 10 and 20 years ago. I love and appreciate so many things about this show much more than I did back then, I understand them more deeply and Nick's commentary sometimes actually helps, points out important stuff I've missed before, even though I rewatched the show millions of times

Hi Nick. I have a Mercedes A200 from 2022. It is not so fancy, but here in Argentina, it is quite huge. I notice that everybody is nicer on the road. They let me in whenever I needed to merge, for example. That did not happen before with my Honda. It's quite funny, actually. love your vids btw.

Fun fact: David Schwimmer directed episode 6, first of 10 episodes directed by him in the series. That moment between Ross and Rachel is so heartwarming but also sad and frustrating. It's so clear they still love each other but neither of them come right out and say it. Btw, in S5E11 Ross said that his New Years resolution was to have just one divorce (with Emily), so he broke it. Joey is right, Porche is pronounced as "Por-shuh". Also, Matt LeBlanc would actually own a couple of them when he became the new host for BBC's Top Gear in 2016. And Joey saying "the only thing I'm gonna miss is YOU" hits so much harder after Matthew's passing 💔

I really appreciate and enjoy your thoughts on the show, and have absolutely no problem if you have a different take than mine, the whole fun here on Patreon is having conversations and being a part of a community. I personally enjoyed that there was some conflict between Monica and Rachel because I found it entertaining (and then was extra relieved when they made up), but I do get it, sometimes it's nice seeing your favorite characters actually getting along and treating each other well. And bottom line, Joey and Chandler have an incredible friendship talk about goals!

thorreacts

YES. I swear half the jokes in this show would not be nearly as funny without the incredible deliveries

thorreacts

That's really interesting honestly. I think that's a pretty solid perk along with a nicer car, a little extra friendliness on the road can help, especially if you're having a tough day. Thanks for sharing this!

Oh dang, that's cool that David Schwemmer started doing some directing for the show, did any other members of the cast also join in or was it just him? And why do I love the fact that Ross failed at his New Years resolution I swear that would probably be one of hardest resolutions of all time not to keep, and yet somehow of course Ross pulled it off haha I keep seeing clickbait type headlines about Matthew Perry, most of them nasty, and it makes me lose some faith in humanity. But moments like that between Joey and Chandler on the show to me is like an antidote to that real life toxicity, and it does hit harder now for sure

Heida

No, David is the only one who directed episodes. And yes the resolution thing is so funny but very in character for Ross 😂 I think it's disgusting that people are saying such nasty things about someone who JUST DIED. Not that dying absolves you from your wrongdoings, but it's a low blow because he's not here to defend himself. And I don't believe it for a second. Like, I realise he wasn't perfect and addiction makes you do things you normally wouldn't, but I believe he was a good man who was just battling a lot of demons.

thanks. bottom line, it's 1999 and women's friendships in media are often portrayed this negatively. full of petty fights..... only men have good friendships. Sadly, rewatching this show makes cretain stuff stand out, how normalized it was.
