This was a perfect episode.  Drusilla coming over to Sunnydale, Spike finally confronting his evil and the inadequecy of his love, and Harmony having literally some of the funniest lines in the entire show!

I think Angel was just as obsessed with Buffy as Spike is. As we see in the episode 'Becoming - Part 1', Angel is practically instantly in love with Buffy and pulls himself out of the mud to help her on her path after Whistler shows Buffy to him. Before they have any real contact, he's watching from the dark, even watches her sleep. The difference is that he gets the object of his desire almost immediately, as Buffy openly reciprocates his feelings, while Spike more or less pines from afar. When Angel loses his soul, he immediately returns to being a stalker and starts lurking in the shadows again. Both Angel / Angelus and Spike have drawn Buffy, but unlike Spike who keeps the pictures to himself to pine for Buffy in his crypt, Angelus has left them for Buffy on her bed to terrorize her. So no, I don't think there's much difference in the depth of their obsessions with Buffy, Angel's obsession was just never shown in length because he gets Buffy almost immediately (from the viewers' perspective at least) while Spike, for us to see, has been pining for months.
