These people are called storm chasers and they still exist even today. There’s even a tv show about them by the same name. ☺️ I’ve seen some videos on YouTube of people doing this it’s pretty interesting if you got some free time or you’re bored. I live in MI and we get tornadoes every now and then, not as often as the flatter states like Oklahoma or Kansas, but often enough. Lol I think the number of people who die during tornadoes is not nearly as many since we’ve been able to steadily increase warning times. For us in Michigan it’s now at 15 min warning.

I always love your reactions, Thor, and this one did not disappoint. I'm not sure if you caught the reference the Dorothy thing was making. Dorothy is a character from the 1939 classic movie Wizard of Oz. On each of the machines, above the name, it had a small image of a girl in what is now an iconic blue and white outfit in pigtails. That's the main character from the film. You might wonder what that girl has to do with the equipment they were using. I don't want to explain it, because I highly recommend you react to The Wizard of Oz, and it's best if you go in completely blind. Trust me, though, if you ever do see it, you'll understand what they were doing here. The reference is actually really clever, once you get the context. The movie is severely dated now, but for its time, it was ridiculously creative and absolutely groundbreaking.
