Yes! Back on the Buffy and Angel train! I needed something to watch with lunch, and this is perfect. Because I don't want to slip any spoilers, I'll only say that the end reveal of that Buffy episode was the Professor going into room 314. Earlier in that episode when Giles and Ethan were having a semi-drunken talk, Ethan *did* say in passing that the demons were talking about something called "314." It was very, very easy to miss or forget given the circumstances of that scene.

In this, the men of the dimension are the baddies. The runaway princess is not. She is callous towards humankind, yes, but it's understandable because the lives of her people -- the women anyway -- are in her hands, and compared to that, humans don't matter. She is almost single-handedly running an Underground Railroad to get them out of slavery. The men literally remove the women's libido *and* personality to keep them as Stepford wife-like slaves. It would be akin to a human having a lobotomy to keep them docile and controllable, if they were also then made into sex slaves. The demon-men are definitely the bad guys here and quite vile. I'm not saying her ways are right or even justified, but they are understandable. The human deaths are unfortunate, particularly since this isn't a human matter, but what the princess was saying is that it couldn't be prevented. When the humans interacted with the runaway women unexpectedly, they were burned because the women had just come of age and are unable to control their power. It takes a few months of ice baths to control the initial fever and then they can learn how to control it.
