Rachel only really makes it thanks to the emotional support from her friends.. she never goes back to asking her parents for money. The storyline of her leaving her rich parents and making it on her own is so unrealistic and so great.

Since you are past those episdoes of Buffy already, I can say that Paul "the wine guy" reminded me strongly of an older Parker from Buffy. Yuck, lol. It has been ages since I've watched Friends. It was one of the shows my mother and I watched together back in the day (along with Buffy, incidentally). When I tried to watch Friends again last year, I couldn't get into it, but watching along with you, I enjoyed it more. I think it's seeing it through fresh eyes and me trying to look at is as more of a time capsule from an era rather than a 21st century-relevant series. If that makes any sense. Matthew Perry did indeed go through some dark times, but I hope he's free from all that now. You should see him in the cheesy-but-fun movie 17 Again of the early 2000s. Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe, the character I find most charming in Friends) did a really funny movie in the late 1990s called Romy and Michele's High School Reunion. I can't find the poll about new shows to watch other than the old ones from September and earlier. I know it's too late to vote, of course, but I was curious what other shows you might be considering. I'll have to wait 'til the next poll, I guess! :D I saw from the older polls that Dr. Who and Supernatural may be possibilities, and I would look forward to either of these. I'm really enjoying Buffy (for which I became a Patreon) and Angel, and now that I'm caught up with those, I'm going to need to start going through your movies! I'm hoping you did Free Guy, Wreck-It Ralph, or Deep Blue Sea, but if not, then perhaps in the future. In the meantime, I'm going to see what's there.
