I know people say this movie is cheesy, but honestly I had a blast!  Also, does anyone else love Goose and his wife??

Every time I watch this I forget that Tim Robbins was in it (Andy from Shawshank). He played Merlin, who flew with Cougar in the opening scenes and with Maverick at the end. Been enjoying your reactions!

If you're looking for a couple of other good Tom Cruise movies to watch, you should react to Days of Thunder and Rain Man. Both are really good films, Days of Thunder with a similar vibe to this one, and Rain Man with a much more serious tone, where Cruise stars alongside Dustan Hoffman, whose performance is both groundbreaking and unparelled to this day. I won't say what either of them are about so that you can go in blind if you have never seen them. After seeing your reaction to the action sequences in this film, I also would love to see you react to Independence Day, which I think you will love. Again, I won't say what it is, except to say it's not at all what it sounds like based on the title. Independence Day is also regarded by many as being cheesy today, but in its time, it was glorious, and it remains one of my favorites.
