I waited to watch this again. It was just so bittersweet! This series will stay with me for a long time! It truly touched my heart! I chose to believe in the Alternative ending where they are together at the campground!

And finally... it was a beautiful and powerful lesson of life. Was it sad ? Not at all. I did not feel any sadness in me while watching them accepting a simple thing but that thing as simple it is take for each human years to accept. Actually I could even say I felt a sensation of plenitude, a real feeling of peace. I do keep again in my heart a thought with Miracle of Teddy Bear, we learn a lesson as strong with the same mind.

I took me all this time to really gather my thoughts on this series, if you ever lost someone you love this series will really hit and so it did for me as well. But as you said, it's both sad and a sense of peace. It's like the first time you are hit with memories of your lost one once the sorrow is starting to dail down, and you feel the tang in your heart, but you still smile because you also remember the warm loving feeling. That is what this series gave me.
