This first episode gave us a great first look at our lead characters and omg, we LOVE them already! This first, Secretary Kim let's her long time boss know that she will be quitting and the poor guy does not handle it well at all as he tries to figure out why she would make this decision and how to get her to change her mind. The ending was the cherry on top as this first episode blew all our expectations out of the water and has us eagerly looking forward to the next episode!

I love this show!! This was my first kdrama (followed by Goblin), and it is still one of my favorite ones. You guys can not even imagine where this drama is gonna go. I'd like to say the description on Viki really misleads the personality of our vice president. They made it sound like he was full of himself for no reason, but he literally is outstanding. I think you guys missed during the reaction the first line of the episode saying that since he became vice president, he made the company grow a lot. From just that, I knew on my first watch that I wouldn't be annoyed with his ego because it is actually warranted. Also, I agree that the comedy makes it easier to digest. To clarify, I don't think the mom was a secretary from memory, but it is very common in this drama to call people by their title. I can't say it's common in Korea, but it is in this drama. So don't take the mom calling the dad chairman for something yet (until they clarify if she was a secretary or not because I legit don't remember). Last thing, I just finished your reactions to FIYS, and you guys spoke on side characters and how much they make a show. I feel like you will like these side characters a lot! They kept me laughing throughout the drama. Btw, you guys said you didn't know the actress for Secretary Kim. Her name is Park Min Young and she is pretty famous. This drama became iconic. Her and Park Seo Joon are staple names (tho not because of these roles, but earlier ones, at least for Seo Joon). Love your reactions, and I can't wait for the rest!

Since it seems like you guys aren't familiar with Park Seojoon as an actor I wanted to let you know that he's best friends with V(Kim Taehyung from BTS) and part of the Wooga Squad! He's a super popular and incredibly talented actor and has been in some amazing dramas one of his most popular ones is ITAEWON CLASS.

I second the other posters. Both the FL and ML are famous actors in SK. Park Seo Joon in fact just made his Hollywood debut in The Marvels. But before that, he has starred in many well known kdramas. I first saw him in Itaewon Class (another really good drama) and was just so impressed with his acting that I started watching his other dramas, Hwarang and Fight For My way, to name a few. I'm currently watching his latest one, Gyeongseong Creature. As for Park Min Young, I first saw her in City Hunter and followed her filmography as well. Healer is my favorite of her shows.

Another great drama that the main actress (Park Min Young) is in is Her Private Life. In this one she is a curator at an art gallery, but has a secret she wants to hide. She is in fact the ultimate fan girl of a K-pop idol. It’s really funny, has a bit of romance, and also the heart tugging moments. I have been watching k-dramas since 2008, I highly recommend this one. This drama is also on Viki.
