You've absolutely hit the nail on the head. It's not for most adults. But holy hell... do my young nephews and nieces love it! I really enjoy the show as well and I do experience small moments of wonder about the world they continue to build upon and that I get to spend more time with a character that I loved since childhood but wasn't always the central figure. Now... I do have to ignore the thoughts in my head about continuity and all the expectations I had for the story I thought we would get... but it's a small price to pay to get back to my inner child and enjoy the ride. Cheers!
