Indy dropping a Terry Pratchett reference makes my week.

Re: Foolish Virgins: My husband's comment on listening to today's presentation: "Why is Indy milking that phrase, saying he doesn't understand it? He has a staff. Either they fell down on the job researching it, or else they are trying to show that they are above such knowledge." When googling the phrase "foolish virgins", the second item that comes up is the passage in Matthew 25. We have no reason to doubt the quality of your research generally, after all of WWI and a good chunk of WW2,; so we're going to assume this is just a glitch.

Indeed, the biblical reference seems hard to miss for a team of researchers. And feigning ignorance on a history channel (with an excellent reputation) is a strange thing. I wonder if there's a stroke of humor in this that I'm insensitive to.
