I liked your opening song. : D Re Vandalism and murder: Could it be vengeance for switch sides? Or just the need to exercise power?

It feels like the Uboat campaigns should be in the WAH as the strategic bomber campaigns are.

Watching this series it seems weird that the war took nearly another 2 years to conclude, given how dire the Axis situation had become it seems at this point.

Never knew Indy could sing this well… Maybe one day there should be an Indy singing collection of World War II music :)

Would it be interesting to dedicate some time to efforts by the US Coast Guard not just at sinking German submarines but also at rescuing submarine and merchant crews?

"Acqui"="A-kwee" or "A-kvee," not "A-kee"

The Germans have a history of destroying cultural items going back to WWI and the destruction of Liege. Albert Speer was actively involved in slave labor and got off relatively easy at Nuremburg.

I hope someday to see a new “map special: Barbarossa to Berlin”! There is still a long way to go, we will have to see how things turn out!

It is becoming increasingly hard to keep engaged in the 2nd World War while that madman in the Kremlin is uttering more and more strident threats of nuclear war if his glorious military, which are currently having their backsides handed to them by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, are not allowed to win. The borders are clogged up with longer and longer queues of Russian men trying to avoid death by joining his war of annexation. And the unhinged tyrant will be holding a victory ceremony in Red Square on Friday to accept the new territories into Motherland Russia. This insanity has been caused by 22 years of brain washing and militarization that begins as soon as Russian kids get to school. He and his clique of cronies and stooges seem quite prepared to take the whole world down with them.

Same here. Looking at the events of this year I guess that the Soviets will just start to run out of steam eventually. On top of that, I guess there is some defender's advantage in terms of supply lines and morale that may come into play as the front line gets closer to Germanys border. Looking forward to hearing more about this.

Czar Vlad might be unhinged but are his generals? Winds go from west to east so would any fallout so is going 'nuke' a real option? The Russian army is getting its clock cleaned by the Ukrainians what chance would it stand against most of Europe and the US? The generals know the answer.

Glad I could help this week! I am excited to see what the future might hold for us after your recent visit to Normandy. Cheers TGC!

Totally agree. We are living through a war that will have a channel like the WW2 channel made about it one day in the future.

It is a rather odd thought, isn't it? We are living History as it happens.

How about the British subs in the Pacific ? I know they wouldn't damage the Japanese on any scale, but I'm curious how they fared.

If in the meantime someone has pointers to Indy's music from a previous life, I'd be interested.

You guys are doing d day on location next year. (Which is filming now) Are there any plans to do some on location stuff in Asia? Myanmar is off limits and China may be difficult, but Manila, many Pacific islands, Imphal, Kohima, taiwan and Japan are all open and covid travel restrictions have been relaxed.

Royal Navy submarines operated , patrolled more on Indian Ocean and Straits of Malacca , close to Malay shores and sank a lot of Japanese merchant shipping and Imperial Navy vessels inclusing two heavy cruisers and a pair of long range German U-Boats operating from Japanese occupied Singapore naval base.
