This week we look at a figure who remains a prominent part of the public historical narrative, but the situation in Europe very much remains one of despair.

We understand that many of you have joined us recently to support our ongoing coverage of Ukrainian history. From the bottom of our hearts: thank you. This channel, and TimeGhost more generally, is first and foremost here to work to preserve the principles of democracy, freedom, and human rights. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making it possible to do our part fighting for those principles.

Schindler's First Rescue Mission - WAH 054 - March 1943, Pt. 1

In the weeks after Goebbels' Sportpalast speech, we realize that Total War might mean an apocalyptic end for Germany, with Hitler's blessing. No wonder that some Germans are looking to end Hitler before he ends them, and what a blessing that at least one Nazi with influence on the fate of thousands of Jews turns out to have a heart and soul. Thank you, again, what is special about your approach is not that you work for democracy, not even working for freedom. What is apecial about your program is, that you enabke freedom of spech and thought by teaching people to think, many very smart people are not taught to think and therfor have no real freedom. for that thank you very much.

Wow. Never knew about the ingenious partisan action in Yugoslavia. The maneuver with the bridge is really something else.

Thank you for this episode, Sparty. In these times, it is good to remember that the tide will turn against the Axis. That the tide is turning already.
