This week we are FILMING! That means that a whole merry bunch of the TimeGhost crew has made it down to TimeGhost Army High Command in Germany. We're attaching a photo of Indy, Astrid, and Marek, deep within this compound's bunker complex. What could they be working on?

Let us know if you want a few more behind the scenes photos while we're here.

167 - The Allies Break Through! - WW2 - November 6, 1942

After all these months of fighting, the British 8th Army breaks through Erwin Rommel's Axis positions in North Africa, but the Allies have even bigger plans for that theater of war- a huge invasion of Vichy French North Africa to take place next week. The Soviets also have a plan for a huge invasion to take place very soon near Stalingrad, though the fighting in the city itself sees a lull the second half of this week. Great episode. Your telling of the tale really a certain gravity to the events as they unfold. I really often think of Thucydides when I look back over the WWI, BTW, WAH, Home and the others series. Though it is a step back in time, the American Civil War would be another great topic for you to cover. I know, though, that you mentioned moving forward to the Korean War, which is certainly an equally deserving topic .............. and Astrid's chair is pretty cool :-)

Oh yes, please...the Korean War.

Well of COURSE we do want more behind the scenes pics!

As a member of the sometimes hated Baby Boomer generation, I grew up hear story after story from parents and relatives regarding their experiences during the war. It is so very satisfying to hear of the same events from a historical perspective. Keep up the good work!

When mentionning the german Intelligence report (yes they missed Uranus), but they had correctly spotted operation Mars, the one it is warning against, a major offensive directed towards the army group centre in Rjev saillant and launched at the same time as Uranus.
