Sparty takes some time today to explain the subjugation that many nations or national groups are placed under by the Allied powers. World War Two is without question a war where one side, the Axis, truly represented the evil which needed to be stopped. Here at TimeGhost we want to cover everything though, as it acts as a sobering reminder that we are all capable of the types of horrors we cover here on War Against Humanity. The only way to prevent that is to learn lessons from the past.

A good video covering all sides of the war, not just the Axis. Just have to hope that YouTube won't censor and curtail potential viewership of this video. Never forget.

He needed to be arrested...many east Indians don't worship the way the west does.

The allies were, in the context of ww2 undeniably, the 'good guys' against the axis of evil but in the wider context of global affairs they were mostly oppressive Imperial masters who ruled with an iron fist. It is important to show this and make clear that the Germans and japanese weren't the only ones committing atrocities and suppressing minorities, they just did it more efficiently and for the sake of hate rather than financial gain.

Brilliant episode of WAH. As a native Indian who was born not too far from where Matangini Hazra was killed, I am tremendously appreciative to you for educating me on the Indian struggle for independence. My previously misconstrued understanding of this time, largely from stories that my parents told me, was of a "hero Gandhi" who came in and disarmed the British with his commitment to nonviolence. If I recall correctly from my American history class, the struggle for Indian independence was presented as a sort of remuneration for helping the British in WW2. The socioeconomic factors, plus many great points made by some people in the Youtube comment section, were completely unknown to me, despite my personal connection and deep interest in this part of history.
