While revolution has swept across technology and social structures in the last few years, the world of art is also experiencing a revolution of its own. Modern Artists are aiming to change the way people experience paint on a two dimension canvas by using techniques and shapes that they believe better capture the wide range of human senses.

Naturally this upsets many both inside and outside the world of art, with some conservative painters lashing out against the movement, and even revolutionary painters arguing with one another. One thing is for sure though, art is changing.

This episode encapsulates perfectly what it is Between Two Wars Season Two is all about, not just the political and military developments around the world, but the way culture and thinking also changed during the era. Delving into these incredibly important cultural moments would not be possible with those of you here at the TimeGhost Army, so as always: thank you.

I'd like you to cover what happened to these artists during WW2 in a WW2 Special. I am particularly thinking of two surrealists, Magritte who returned to commercial art and seems to have "laid low", and Claude Cahun who received a death sentence.

I think Indy enjoyed himself the most I have seen in any episode so far.

"Drink bird milk! Wash your chocolates! Da da, Da da, Beef!" Well, now I know where Hollywood stars like Gwyneth Paltrow get their inspiration.
