As the German Army continues their attempted drive on Moscow, the rods they are driving along become increasingly difficult to use. Meanwhile, supply issues are making it difficult to prepare the German soldiers with adequate clothing for the upcoming winter. In Crimea, German tanks pour through the region quickly capturing territory.

At sea, the USS Ruben James is torpedoed by a German U-552, the first loss of a neutral U.S. warship to hostile action during World War Two.

This week also sees experiments begin with new and cruel methods to murder Jewish people.
