This time you know what the suggestive headline means, so let's cut to the chase.

Today's entry in the TimeGhost World DicKtionary is all about Law & Order.
Or not...

L is for lawman, a sheriff or cop
To misdeeds and mischief, they put a full stop
But some of those lawmen were criminals born
In the old wild west, one of them was Tom Horn

DicKtionary - L is for Lawman - Tom Horn

Morally ambiguous guns for hire are a fantasy of old Western films, right? Well not in the case of Tom Horn! A lawman, a cowboy, a soldier, and ultimately: a dick. Fun. Just one note. Having lived in Utah, it's the Deseret News (as in Deser 'et a great dinner). Still there, just no longer 'evening'. Love 'ya, Indy.

It appears the Pinkerton penchant for hiring killers continues to now. Denver authorities arrested a Pinkerton contract guard for the murder of a protester during a weekend rally. Details are slowly trickling out on this story so there may be more to it than we know so far. As an aside, I worked for the agency while in college during the Jurassic Age, but I doubt any of the crew I knew were capable of shooting at someone, much less hitting them. Sadly, times have changed.

Where was Trinity and Bambino when you needed them?

The Pony Express only operated from April 1860 to October 1861--unlikely that Horn, if born in 1860, actually worked for them.

and, is the newspaper owned by the LDS church - and almost certainly was in those days. Still, a reputable newspaper, though rather biased on some subjects, and definitely of a conservative bent. (from your fan in Utah... hopefully not the only one).

Hi Tom! You are not alone. BTW Indy: Deseret means "honeybee" in LDSspeak.
