Here it is - the intermediate end of a labor of love that has lasted two years almost to the day. A creation that could never have been possible without all of your support. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

In the next weeks we will start telling you about what comes next and when for Between 2 Wars, and yes there will be a season two. When we started creating this we quickly realized we wouldn't be able to cover everything that we wanted to. After all we're talking of twenty-one years of human history. So this first season focused on the key events that led to WW2. But, there were many more people, many more nations, many more events, many more stories that deserve to be told. And that is what we will focus on when the series returns.

I hope you enjoy the episode - I went out of my way to write it in a certain tone of hyperbole that the outbreak of the world's biggest conflagration requires, while remaining true to our dedication to facts and balance. Indy, Astrid, Wieke and Daniel added their voices to that tone excellently - I hope it meets your expectations.

Once again, a million thanks,

Spartacus

Love the episode and the series!

I went looking to buy a copy of the song often used in these episodes: "The Charleston 3 - Håkan Eriksson". Google takes me to soundcloud but the song itself isn't there. Does anyone have a suggestion where to look?

will the content keep coming as the pandemic continues? Love the show! Greetings from Pressburg, Slovakia.

We will indeed be continuing to publish despite the pandemic. Indy was in Germany until last week and we have shot material until mid June. Should we still be under lockdown by then, we have already et up contingency plans to make sure that we have no interruptions.

I was wondering why it was signed off as Season 1. This has been utterly brilliant. All these events that I have known about but didn't make much sense now have context. The way you explain and humanize these events is utterly mesmerizing. So proud to be a member of the Time Ghost army.

It’s actually been the “Between 2 Wars” - Series that tipped the scale for me to enlist in the TGA. I consider that period of time when the way leading into WWII was paved far more interesting than the war itself. My enlistment here was driven by the expectation to find a balanced mesh between “WWII” and “Between 2 Wars” episodes here on Patreon and also a balanced shift of presentation between Andy and Spartacus (whose presentations- as to the the facts and backgrounds - I consider to be deeper and more adequate to them than Andy’s. I wouldn’t wonder if the real epidemic that ceases “Between 2 Wars” were not Covid-19 but Andy’s space-consuming Ego which quite obviously seizes for domination and control over this here channel...
