Hey all! I'm writing this from the fanmeeting we're hosting in the Romagne '14-'18 museum during our fanmeeting in France. We're having tons of delicious baguette and charcuterie that Jean-Paul prepared for us – you'll get to see that in one of our upcoming roadtrip videos. Anyhow, that is also the reason that this episode is delayed a little. I have never had worse internet and we spent the whole day in a bunker. Still, this is the episode with which the Phoney War comes to an end. Cheers, and see you in the comments!

Cheers,

Joram

The Invasion of Norway and Denmark - WW2 - 033 - April 13 1940

This week, the Phoney War seems to come to an end when Germany invades Denmark and Norway. The Allies seek confrontation with the Germany in the hope to at least deny them full access to the Swedish Iron mines. Nevertheless, the Germans are prepared and have been planning this for weeks. It looks like it will cost a lot to put a stop to this. I watched “The King’s Choice” on prime video in anticipation of this episode. Great job on this week’s episode and with the road trip video!

Rather amusing that the German invasion and occupation of Denmark was just an incidental aside.
