yeah ponies are racist like seriously no joke they will follow you and be friends at the drop of a hat (or start of a song) but yeah thru the years of MLP you learn they are dumb and fall into racisms so easily. as for zecora no idea why she rhymes but that is how she always speaks in the show

You can learn about why she rhymes in one of the season 10 comics! (I think it's in the first set of the season 10 comics?) It has to do with how she really wanted to learn magic growing up even though she's basically the Zebra countries' equivalent to an earth pony (the other races being Abada and Kelpies), so she started speaking in rhymes because a lot of spells have rhyming (or something like that). I won't spoil what happens in the comics because it is definitely something that needs to be read in context, and is totally worth giving a read if you can!
