and here you get 2 of the greatest characters of the show. sweet loving gilda and humble trixie..... ok yeah cant say thast with a strait face. these 2 tho are huge fan faves that sadly didnt get much air time in the beginne seasons but later do get more character development and improve on them. and yeah twi is super powerful she knows many tricks/spells where as most only know a few associated with their talents. the only character more OP then twi is pinkie because screw physics we got pinkie

Heads up, Scoot, watch one intro each season. They'll keep changing it and adding more to it as we go on. They also do remixes of the song. Also, the five know one another, but most weren't friends before, except Rain and AJ. It's implied they know one another to an extent. AJ supplies Dash with stuff.

I liked how the Trixie episode set up a question with a lot of weight. A pony gets magic to fulfill the needs of their talent. But what if a pony (Twi) is born with a talent for magic as a whole?

I love that, in universe, because she doesn't like need the money, Trixie is basically going on a world tour to make sure that everyone knows she's amazing. She's not selling a show, she's not trying to make money, she just wants to travel to every town to make sure they know she's amazing.

It's not a spoiler because the show never actually addresses it (it was cut for the sensitive content) but Trixie's dad does the same thing Trixie does. They've never met, and her dad has no idea of her existence. It's not unlikely Trixie is on the hunt for him outside of what we see, doing the same kind of show biz hoping to run into him.
