A fun fact to count in that cutie mark ep: Take rarity for example, her talent is FINDING gems, tho, she didn't befome a hunter or eomeone who works with jewelry or even the job of those dogs who find gems. She became a fashionista, she design, draws, she sews her clothes, hats and everything a designer does. But we rarely see her actually using her talent, what she got her cutiemark for. Yes, getting a cutie mark means you got your true calling, but it can come from a hobby, fashion and career!! I find that so interesting but most people forget that :)

I think calling them blank flanks is all in a matter of how it’s used. Like how I’ve been called a white man, which I am, but it was meant like that’s something to ashamed of.

Cutie marks (for the most part) are just what make you unique, sometimes it’s a special talent, or your purpose, sometimes it’s just what makes you unique. Some ponies take advantage of it and others don’t. I’d imagine a cutie mark could be really useful in a job interview. 😂
