I think Id perfer fan made mlp vids after finishing the main show. I dont necessarily dislike them sprinkled in though.

You should watch fall of the crystal empire, its kind of a fanmade prequel thing about celestia and luna fighting against sombra and if i remember correctly the animation was really good, i think youd enjoy it

The first one was fan-made too. Pretty obvious since most of the Mane Six's voices were clearly not their actual VAs (though Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash were pretty close)

Vinyl Scratch/DJ Pon3 was initially voiced only in fan made content by a YouTuber known as NoWackingWhiskey. The show opted to make her a voiceless character in the show as they didn't want to upset the fanbase as the voice that she is known for isn't really in line with the show. Not all fan voiced characters succumbed to this. Octavia initially voiced by English YouTuber EllieMonty in fan made content kind of set the voice for the shows character.

So much nostalgia in these. oh and don't feel bad about any wicked thoughts on button's mom their are actual games with that in mind. but more importaintly she has a theme song (buttons mom by poni1knombi) stormX does a lot of real life pony vids I don't know if you reacted to it yet but he did one called "my little dashie" and it is a f**king heart wrecker. also Jan animations who did the button mash and picture perfect pony vids was an amazing artists who actually did commissions for episodes but sadly got C&D'd by hasbro the picture perfect pony video was actually leaked as musci from season 5 by some till it was confirmed fan made. if you wanna take a look at fan stuff be warned there is A LOT and a good part of them are show quality like the moon rises was by duo

Yeah I also want to suggest the Anthology series. It’s a bit dated, but I think the funniest ones are 5 and onward.

The one with Derpy where she was fighting the changelings, she was defending her sisters I believe. I’m pretty sure that’s how the fans related those three. The doctor who pony is someone they ship with Derpy a lot too, and the little button mash dude is someone they ship with Sweetie Belle. You should look at Don’t Mine At Night PMV.

i really liked this video and i think watching a lot of fanmade stuff would be cool (and also because i think it deserves recognition) - but im afraid that a lot of the show may get spoiled either from the content itself or anything that might come up in recommendations afterwards, but its entirely your choice of course
