actually the map is alive that's why if you listen very closely you can hear it whisper giggity when the mane 6 are seated at it. nah but seriously theirs gotta be more to it then what we see I mean it kept the everfree forest at bay for a thousand years and it produce a full castle so I agree somethings gotta be up with it because thats some alicorn level power but the question is with only 2 and 1/2 seasons to go will we get answers in the show or only in the comics. oh and that first episode inky is fire that's my kinda girl but the best pony that episode was the strawberry pony putting AJ in her place lol and then rarity for that metal shredding on an acoustic guitar even the greatest metal guitar players can't do that on that kind of guitar rarity is amazing

Rewatching the second episode in this video made me think about how the nightmares of ponies were completely unresolved for 1,000 years until Luna was back because Celestia did not have the ability to go into the dreams and help ponies out with their nightmares.
