Change on chapters 77 and 79 (Patreon)

This is only relevant if you read chapters 77 and 79 before Feb 4th.

When the system explained about age groups, I forgot to also explain that people were divided into countries too. More important, they are still divided into countries even at the stat stages. Only at the 10th stage will people of the age each group but different countries interact with each other.

By not explaining that, I also forgot to mention that when the age groups fought each other at the sixth stage, an age group that lost in one country might have won in another.

Therefore, every single one of the 20 original age groups will have 4 Pioneers, one for each stat, for a total of 80 instead of 40.

I have changed some things, mainly two system messages, to reflect this on chapter 77 and 79.

Tutorial - 6th Stage

As you've likely realized, you were paired only with people of the country you were in when you joined the tutorial. The same happened to everyone else, no matter how big or small their countries are. Exceptions were made to extraordinarily small nations, which were grouped together.

Those from the same country were further separated into 20 age groups. The ages in each group are:

- 15 only

- 16 only

- 17 only

- 18 only

- 19 only

- 20 only

- 21 and 22

- 23 and 24

- 25 and 26

- 27 and 28

- 29 and 30

- 31 to 33

- 34 to 36

- 37 to 39

- 40 to 44

- 45 to 49

- 50 to 54

- 55 to 59

- 60 to 69

- 70+

Different countries will only interact with each other at the 10th stage.

Mentions of age groups from now on will always pertain to those from your country.

Past mentions of numbers were always related to your country, too, and sometimes to your age group, depending on the context.

It felt like the tutorial was expanding their horizons.

When they joined it, they had been worried about surviving the first monsters. As they progressed, they were remembered that they were just a few fish in a larger pond.

Shen liked that. Being told too much from the start would've distracted them from what mattered.

The Multiverse Alliance aims to save as many as possible in the fight against the Void.

Pick a stat. You'll have to prove yourself using it until the very end of this tutorial.

Only one person of each stat for each age group in the entire world will complete the Pioneer Tutorial.

For now, you'll compete only against those in your country.

You eliminated the fifteen-year-olds of your country, but that didn't happen in the entire world. Some of that age group won the previous stage in other countries. The same happened to all 20 age groups: they triumphed in some countries and were defeated in others.

You have just eliminated others from this tutorial.
