This is a commission. This art will be used for the front art of a con badge, specifically one of my mini character reference con badges.

I have yet to the vectored elements for the back part of the badge.

CHARACTER REFERENCES

The dragon is named Larcis and his fish is named; Lars's Fish? I don't know he apparently does not have a name -  Usually it's just "my goldfish" ('my' referring to the commissioner) and occasionally Der Bugen.

I wanted to do something fun that included the fish.

Cleaned up the initial sketch.

This fish has seen some shit.

The line art is thusly finished!

Blocking in the base colour and cleaning the edge.

Using the MAGIC WAND TOOL and the LASSO TOOL I select areas and colour.

Coloured the line art and added scale details.

Turned the opacity of the scale layer down so scales become a barely visible texture.

I forgot about his darker blue stripes, so I added them in. Oops.
