I won’t know till I finish the video but I’ll point it out anyways bc I’m sure you’ll love this If you go back to episode 20 when the ending plays there’s no reflection in the very last scene because it was part of Emilia contract with puck not to look into mirrors that’s also why her reflection isn’t showing in the mirror in the trial but at the end of this episode you can actually see Subarus and Emilia’s reflection in the water and what is this episode called? Exactly. PEAK FICTION I knew you’d use this shot as a thumbnail White Fox really cooked with this scene Also it officially got announced there will be a new trailer for Re:Zero season 3 plus new info at anime Japan at the ending of march hope when you guys finished the anime you can react to the trailer we already got plus the new one 🙏🏽 Loved the part where you went through the notebooks at the end the love and care you have for the series, it’s characters and it’s story you’re watching really is something special. Ahhh man!! I think White Fox was too subtle with the Mirror. I have literally never seen any reactor that noticed it... Emilia hesitates to look in the mirror and even feels relief when Geuse knocks on the door... Geus arriving was the excuse she needed to go to the door instead, so she wouldn't have to face her own image in the mirror. Then, later on, when she looks at the water from above the cliff, she has this series of flashbacks, remembering how everyone has always called her a Witch, judged her for her looks... And as a result of it, Emilia became scared. She is scared to look in the mirror, she is scared to find out that what everyone says is actually true, that she does look like a Witch. But she decided to jump the cliff and confront her own image. Its such a strong moment, the hints were there, but is just SOOO EASY to miss. I had hoped you guys would... But I guess if you didn't, then no one will =(

I believed it was the fact that she knew it was just a trial, hence not showing up in the mirror and not being in that reality with Fortuna alive currently pained her. But your explanation connected the right dots

Just wanted to point out that Emilia doesn’t even know if Betlegeuse is still alive, since she never saw him as his "sloth" self and nobody besides Betty. Roswal and probably Puck know about him in the remaining cast

Surprised they didn't mention/ pick up on the fact that the three trials represent past, present and future. I think I remember them theorizing about it back when Subaru dealt with his first trial, but they seemed unsure about what Emilia's next trials would be like in the last few reactions.

Nothing is going great. Subaru got rejected from the room and getting attacked by a strong Mabeast. Garf is fighting against Elsa. Elsa seems way to experienced for Garf. His sister fights against Meili. Dont know about her full abilities yet. Ram is fighting against frickin Roswaal. I wouldnt call any of that "looking great". The only thing thats going great are Emilias trials.

I think one of the weirdest things for me this season are the sound effects from the mabeasts. I have no idea why they did it like that.
